Alyssa Crosby and Limor Gallo present Laura Gatewood from CHLA with a check from Eden's Journey for $5,000 raised at the 1st Annual Wedding Dress Pub Crawl in 2014.

Since battling our daughter Eden's diagnosis of OMS from the time she was 14 months, we have come to understand the true need of an  established fund to create great fellows as they are the future of specialists in this field. We are trying every day to help spread awareness for this disease. OMS knowledge is crucial so that doctors will not delay diagnosis and can limit brain injury.

Your contributions will go go directly into all areas of pediatric neurological research at CHLA as well as a designated OMS fellowship fund to support a research fellow to work under Dr. Wendy Gayle Mitchell, Director of Pediatric Neurology, Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Professor of Clinical Neurology and Pediatrics, Keck School of Medicine and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Because of Dr. Mitchell we have been able to battle our fears, ask ongoing questions, and continue to believe in our daughter's recovery these past three years.

The reality is there is a considerable shortage of Pediatric Neurologists for generations to come. There are currently 18 states that don't even have pediatric neurologists. But, by raising at least money this 2014, we will be able to financially provide the support for a specialist to work and learn and train under Dr. Mitchell This will give the opportunity for an additional number of patients to be seen with a shorter wait time this coming year.

So again we ask you to please join us by donating to this disease and help using supporting those doctors doing research for a cure.
